Psyching them up to race for a kid who can't

Coming Full Circle...

Though Tony still has many racing and speaking goals to accomplish, he also dedicates himself to an important cause he created and directs called the MiracleKids Triathlon. In just 4 years, nearly 2500 kids have gotten fit and raced a triathlon, while also raising nearly $400,000 for the Miracles of Mitch Foundation.

In 2008, well over 1000 kids are expected to race in the two MiracleKids Triathlons to be held on Satuday, July 19 at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis, and Saturday, August 16 at Lake Ann Park in Chanhassen.

The themne of the race is, Kids Racing for Kids Who Can't, as each kid races with the name of a kid currently fighting to beat cancer. Kids are encouraged to raise money for the foundation which provides cost of living support to cancer kids and their families. This year's goal is to raise over $150,000.

Tony's passion on the platform and the ideas he shares as a motivational speaker on visionary leadership are all on display at the MiracleKids Triathlon as he leads a team of over 200 dedicated volunteers and some 3-dozen+ sponsors who throw their support behind this extraordinary and inspiring day enjoyed by several thousand spectators.
